Heart of the Fae by Emma Hamm

Self-published authors are either a hit or a miss. With Emma Hamm it is defiantly a HIT. Heart of the Fae is the first book I have read from her. It is one of her more popular books. It is the first book in her Otherworld series and is loosely based on the tale of Beauty and the Beast. She makes a deal with a Fae that she will bring back the mysterious master of a castle from an Island…

    Bargain Books Warehouse Sale

Book Sales are the best. Who doesn’t love them? I recently went to the Bargain Books Warehouse sale, and I will say it is one of the BEST book sales I have been to.  I have been going to the sale since they started doing them in April 2018. it was EPIC! The books were so cheap. In April their prices were as follows: R50 for any paperback, R70 for any trade paperback and R100 for and hardback. Great prices right!! The prices have changed now;paperbacks are now R60, trade paperbacks are R80 and hardbacks remained R100. Once I got there I felt so overwhelmed. There were so many books.…

Monthly Tea and Book Haul: November 2018

November was an eventful month. I wrote my last exams, found out my contact at work wasn’t going to be renewed for next year, within a week I managed to secure a new job for next year and bought more books than I thought. Unfortunately I didn’t complete any books this month. I will be completing my qualification this year and during the month of November I wrote the last exam I will write for a long time (until I decide to go back to studying again). It was a bittersweet moment for me, as I am one of those crazy people that actually enjoy studying and learning new things.…

    Favourite books

As a first post I thought it would be a good idea to introduce my readers to the types of books that I read. This is just so that you will have a better understanding of the type of content to expect from me. The easiest way to do this is to talk about my favourite books. The Name of the Wind – Patrick Rothfuss This is one of THE best books I have EVER read!! I loved this story, this world and characters! It was beautifully written, to a point where it was almost poetry. If you have not read this book, stop what you are doing now and…
